HumVee, Pocket Pit Bull for Adoption Houston TX
humvee was saved minutes from his death at a Houston city pound, as his owner couldn't afford to pay his fines to get him out. humvee is a true pocket minature pit bull, being a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier weighing under 35# and very short at the shoulder. Pit bulls have been in this small size since they were first recognized as a purebred breed! He loves all people of all ages, likes other dogs and playing fetch and is just a happy go lucky pit bull. Fully vetted and ready for adoption in Houston, Texas. Inky the blue seal female was also a rescued dog, found as a stray with mange and now has her AKC Canine Good Citizen CGC award and Therapy Dog certification.

HumVee is so absolutely beautiful! Why was HumVee in the pound? Does he have any bad habits? Is he still up for adoption?

aghhh oh my goodness they are both beautiful! whenever I am finally in a position to get a dog I’d like an old style smaller pit bull just like him : )
He is a cute dog, especially considering that he’s spent most his life in a kennel, either at animal control or at a boarding facility. Most dogs can’t handle such a lifestyle but HumVee just rolls along, likes everyone and is a great example of the adaptive nature of pit bulls.

Thanks, Inky is a chunky monkey due to it being so hot that we only walk about 2 miles at night and the mosquitoes are making that difficult now. Plus we’ve been doing a lot of treat training with other dogs and the calories add up. Raw rules.
